Ohio State ADVANCE
The Ohio State University

Ohio State ADVANCE engages in a number of initiatives to facilitate the recruitment, retention, and advancement of women faculty members from diverse populations in STEM disciplines and increase the presence and success of women in those fields.

Our current initiatives include:

Faculty Research Lecture Series

The Ohio State ADVANCE Faculty Research Lecture Series focuses on the research journey of Ohio State faculty. Invited speakers highlight their research and discuss the successes and challenges encountered as part of a successful career in research.

REACH for Commercialization

REACH, a signature program of Ohio State’s 2008 NSF ADVANCE grant, develops the entrepreneurial capacity of women faculty.

Faculty members want their research to make a difference, yet most view the end product of their efforts as the referred publication or conference presentation. Engaging in commercialization activities can extend the REACH of research activities.

Ohio, Western PA, & West Virginia Higher Education Recruitment Consortium (HERC)
